The Role
We are currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor (International) to review internal controls and audit the financial transactions of corporate and operating units within the company. With 150 locations worldwide, the position will primarily be involved in the testing of controls at locations in Europe. The incumbent will report any control discrepancies or practices that do not conform to the company’s standard accounting policies.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct internal audits.
Evaluate audit risks and provide input to the Internal Audit Manager for planning audits.
Develop appropriate audit tests based upon audit department and other recognized audit test procedures, conduct audit tests based upon those procedures, and evaluate the results of those tests.
Obtain, evaluate and document audit evidence to support conclusions.
Evaluate operational and financial controls for assigned audits and provide input to other members of the internal audit team on the adequacy of those controls.
Develop and communicate audit findings and recommendations.
Perform and complete assigned audits with minimal supervision.
Perform special audit projects (including Sox 404) as directed.
Prepare draft reports for audit work completed, discuss audit findings and recommendations with auditees at completion of reviews, and coordinate the inclusion of auditee responses in reports.
The Candidate
You will have an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) with experience in internal or external auditing (‘Big 4” preferred) manufacturing assignments. Knowledge of proper internal controls in a manufacturing environment are essential. |
