Principal Accountant Derby £28270 - £33231 Role Two Principal Accountants are required for Derby City Council. As Principal Accountant you will be required to assist in the provision of a comprehensive accounting service to your department including corporately managed budgets; to provide financial support and advice to corporate projects and programmes. Main duties to include; financial advice on service and policy issues; assess financial implications regarding legislation and policy changes; preparation of budgets; medium term financial planning; supporting budget holders; ensure statutory accounts and external funding regimes are satisfied.
